Sometimes football recruiting can be a “who you know” business and that was the case with NC State offering Semmes (Ala.) Mary Montgomery junior quarterback Jared Hollins.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Hollins earned his first college scholarship offer from NC State quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper on Feb. 14, who had previously coached one of Hollins’ coaching mentors.
