NC State picked up some potential immediate help at cornerback for the 2018 season by landing a verbal commitment from Kishawn Miller, a native of Gainesville, Ga., playing at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Ga.

Miller confirmed the commitment to The Wolfpacker.

He had 21 tackles, an interception, eight pass breakups and a forced fumble during his freshman season for GMC. He had a lone offer from Georgia State until NC State joined the list in June when Miller came for an unofficial visit on June 24.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder will have three years to play two for the Wolfpack.

He played high school football at Mill Creek High in Hoschton, Ga., where he piled up 49 tackles, 16 pass breakups and five interceptions as a senior. He returned three picks for scores.

The Wolfpacker will have more from Miller in the future.
