Jarkel Joiner’s college basketball path has literally taken him from coast-to-coast.

Joiner grew up in Oxford, Miss., and his dad was a local barber who cut then Ole Miss coach Rod Barnes’ hair. Barnes coached the Rebels from 1998-06, but eventually he needed a new program.
