HILLSBOROUGH — Pittsboro (N.C.) Northwood High sophomore Gus Ritchey has found his groove playing both defensive end and tight end.

NC State tight ends and special teams coach Todd Goebbel made an appearance to see Ritchey play last Friday at Hillsborough (N.C.) Cedar Ridge High. Kind of fitting for Goebbel to make the drive to Cedar Ridge, after coaching Chicago Bears punter Trenton Gill the last few years.
