Reidsville (N.C.) High’s Dionte Neal has enjoyed one of the top freshman years in possibly decades, and not just in one sport.

Neal and fellow freshman Kendre’ Harrison were part of Reidsville getting a runner-up finish in the NCHSAA 2A division in both football and basketball.

Neal poured in 32 points, but it wasn’t enough in a 75-63 loss to Farmville (N.C.) Central on Saturday at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, N.C.
