Havelock (N.C.) High senior outside linebacker Donovan Darden had been to NC State before, but his official visit was the first time back since getting offered June 1.

Darden had his recruitment shake up when he camped at NC State and received an offer as an outside linebacker by Wolfpack defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Tony Gibson.
