CHARLOTTE — One of the potential breakout stars this upcoming season could be West Charlotte (N.C.) High freshman wide receiver Davion Jones.

Jones served notice in his first prep game last year when he caught a long touchdown catch against Charlotte Palisades High to start the season. With sophomore quarterback KD Smith returning, that could become more commonplace this fall.
