Complete NCSU football parking information

The NC State Athletics Department offers parking information and several suggested traveling routes for fans of Wolfpack football before the season kicks off this Sunday, Sept. 4, at home against Virginia Tech. The information pertains to NC State permits, stadium permits, arena permits, public parking and routes to all parking zones.

NC State Permit Parking Information

Fans with NCSU Football Parking Permits will have access to the Stadium and Arena Parking Areas four (4) hours in advance of each football game.

Directions to respective permit parking areas are presented as follows:

• State Fairgrounds Lot - enter off of Trinity Road at the location the large Oak Trees adjacent to Gate 9 of the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. The proper permit is required for entry into this area. The parking area will open four (4) hours in advance of the game kick-off time. It will not be possible to enter this parking area before the 4-hour prior opening time.

• Trinity Lot Entrance - enter off of Trinity Road. This drive will be on the right arriving on Trinity after turning off of Blue Ridge Road. The Lot will be properly signed and found as the second drive on the right after turning onto Trinity Road after turning off of Blue Ridge Road. This lot requires the proper permit for entry.

• Cardinal Gibbons Permit - This parking area is located at Cardinal Gibbons High School across Edwards Mill Road from the Stadium. Whether the permit holder is arriving from Trinity Road or Wade Avenue, access is permitted with the proper permit four (4) hours in advance of the game from either of two driveways located along Edwards Mill Road.

• Faculty / Staff, Varsity Club Permits - This parking area is also accessed from Trinity Road. A parking permit is required for entry with the parking area opening four (4) hours in advance of the kick-off. This lot is the nearest parking lot to the Stadium Parking Areas located off the open parking area property of the Stadium. The lot provides substantial shade as it is heavily wooded with amply parking area.

 

Stadium Permits

All permits with a designation of Stadium with a specific areas and space number are located in the open grass area of the Stadium parking complex. All of the listed parking gates will open four (4) hours in advance of kick-off

• Southeast Permits - May enter via West Chase Drive (Gate F) or via Trinity Road. From Trinity Road these permits have access from either Gate A or Gate B.

• East Permits AND General Parking Permits - Enter the Stadium Property from either Gate F via West Chase Drive or through Gate B off of Trinity Road.

• West Parking Permit - Enter Gate C off of Trinity Road. It is possible to access this lot from Edwards Mill Road (Gate E), but the volume of traffic to content with is much less if entry is attained by using Trinity Road.

Arena Permits

All permits denoted with the words Arena followed by the respective direction the space resides in relation to the RBC Center Arena are located within the paved parking lots surrounding the Arena.

• Arena West 6000 or 5000 Lots - Motorists may enter from Edwards Mill Road. It is possible to enter from any of the open gates, but given the assigned space is located nearest Edwards Mill Road, this is the chosen path for entry.

• Arena North 4000 or 3000 Lots - Motorists may enter from either Edwards Mill Road or directly from Wade Avenue from Gate I. All of the parking gates to the Stadium will allow access to these parking areas, but Edwards Mill Road is the preferred path due to their location.

• Arena East 2000 and 1000 Lots - Motorists may enter via West Chase Drive (Gate F) or Gate I directly off of Wade Avenue or Gate B off of Trinity Road

• Arena South and Wolfpack Parents - This lot is located on the South Side of the RBC Center and on the Scoreboard Side of the Stadium. Entry Access is by use of Edwards Mill Road, West Chase Road, Gate B, or directly off of Wade Avenue via Gate I.

Parking Gates will open four (4) hours in advance of the kick-off time If someone is parked in your assigned parking space, you may call 749-1405 for the unauthorized vehicle to experience being towed. There will be a towing fee charged to these vehicle owners.

Public Parking Options

These public parking areas will be available for entry by vehicle at 3:00 p.m. on game day

• Parking for the Disabled is available at Cardinal Gibbons High School located on Edwards Mill Road. There is a parking fee of $ 10.00 / vehicle and a free shuttle will be available to and from the game with service to the Murphy Center at Gate B on the Stadium Grounds.

Public Parking Areas

• Parking lot located as first drive on the right after turning onto Trinity Road from Blue Ridge Road. Private parking lot with an anticipated parking fee of $ 10.00/ vehicle

• Parking lot along West Chase Drive, lot and building neared the Stadium only. Parking fee is $ 10.00/ car with the money collected benefiting local charities

• Parking Lot located at the corner of Edwards Mill Road and Trinity Road. This is an office building (Trinity Place) parking lot and the parking fee is $ 10.00 / car

• Public parking lot on the corner of Hillsborough Street and Blue Ridge Road. This lot is adjacent to the Vet School and across the street from Gate 11 of the State Fairgrounds. This parking lot offers free parking for the game

The parking lots immediately surrounding the Stadium are accessed by permit only.

All permits parking areas will open four (4) hours in advance of the game time.
