Boston College Basketball is set to add Chris Cheeks to the coaching staff, reports Jon Rothstein. The coaching veteran was an assistant at Western Kentucky last season after spending four seasons on the staff at Delaware. Cheeks has also coached at UNCC, Georgia State, West Virginia, and VCU.

Cheeks was among the handful of finalists interviewed last week.

The Eagles had a coaching vacancy after Assistant Coach Stan Heath left BC to become the Head Coach of the Lakeland Magic in the NBA G League.
