Bryant Shirreffs pulls the trigger

As first reported by Rivals.com, quarterback Bryant Shirreffs has committed to NC State.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pounder confirmed the news in a text to The Wolfpacker. The dual-threat signal caller is on his official visit this weekend, and is coming off of a season where he led Jefferson (Ga.) High to a state title.

As a senior, he passed for 2,404 yards and 18 scores, and rushed for 1,383 yards and 21 touchdowns en route to Max Preps All-America Small School second-team and Georgia AA Offensive Player of the Year honors.
He picked up a tender from the Wolfpack on Thursday, as first reported by The Wolfpacker, and had also attended a summer camp before at NC State.
"I just loved the campus and the environment," he told The Wolfpacker on Thursday. "It felt like a great place where I'd love to go to school, so I'm extremely happy about the offer."
