KINGS MOUNTAIN — Sophomore combo guard Bradley Floyd has always looked up to NC State senior center D.J. Burns.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound Floyd is a cousin of Burns on his dad’s side of the family. He’s markedly different than Burns as a player and physically, but he’s on the same path of being coveted by college coaches.
