RALEIGH, N.C. – Recent NC State women's basketball graduate Aislinn Konig has signed a professional contract with BCF Elfic Fribourg in Switzerland.
In her four seasons as a member of the Wolfpack and three years as a starter, Konig was an instrumental leader in a senior class that earned the most overall wins (105), home wins (60) and conference wins (49) by any four-year class in program history. The guard helped guide the Pack to back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances and three NCAA Tournament berths. Most recently, Konig and the NC State women's basketball team won the program's first ACC Tournament title since 1991. The Pack's 2019-20 season ended with a 28-4 overall record that included a program-record 14 victories in ACC play and three victories over nationally-ranked opponents.

Did not miss a single game in the final three seasons of her career, playing all 101 (99 starts) from 2017-20 … One of just five players in program history with 200+ career three-pointers and ranked sixth in program history with a .364 (294-of-807) career three-point percentage … 2019 All-ACC Academic Team honoree and named to the ACC Honor Roll twice in her career.The Wolfpack concluded the 2019-20 season ranked eighth in the final Associated Press Top 25 Poll of the year. It marked the second season in a row that the team has secured a top-10 national ranking.
