NC State coach Kevin Keatts expects 10 teams to battle it out at the ACC Tournament, and he hopes 7-8 of them make the NCAA Tournament.
NC State had a one-possession game, trailing 70-67 with about 2 1/2 minutes left, but Pittsburgh pulled out the 81-73 win Saturday.
Keatts didn't have an update yet on senior scoring wiz D.J. Horne, who was limited to 12 first-half minutes. Junior shooting guard Jayden Taylor exploded for 22 of his 28 points in the second half in trying to fill the void.
