NC State added two more to its football class of 2021 Friday evening with two verbal commitments from three-star defensive end Travali Price and defensive tackle Jayden Tate of North Lincoln High in Lincolnton, N.C.
The duo both announced their decisions via Twitter when they picked the Wolfpack over notable other offers from Louisville, Tennessee and South Carolina. Price also had offers from Oklahoma, Penn State and Wisconsin among others.
Price recorded 84 tackles (30 solo, 54 assisted) last season as a junior and 118 tackles (38 solo, 80 assisted) in 2018 as a sophomore for North Lincoln. Over the past two seasons, the pass-rushing standout has tallied 21 sacks including 15.5 as a sophomore in 2018.
Last season, Price and Tate helped lead North Lincoln to the third round of the 2AA NCHSAA State Playoffs in which it forced overtime.
The Wolfpacker will have more on this breaking news story to come.
