NC State Wolfpack football has picked up its fourth verbal commitment for the defensive side of the ball since Friday evening. Two-star safety Sean Brown from Hough High in Cornelius, N.C., joined the class by making a Father’s Day announcement via Twitter.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Brown was offered by NC State in early-April. At that point, Louisville, Appalachian State and Temple had been among the schools to also give him a scholarship. Michigan State, Missouri and Wake Forest joined the list after the Pack.
Brown visited NC State for a junior day, and the Wolfpack coaches likely had an assist from his classmate in the Hough secondary, Pack commit and three-star corner Mario Love Jr.
Brown had 65 tackles, including four for loss and three sacks, as a junior. He also intercepted a pass.
NC State now has 12 verbal commitments in the 2021 class.
The Wolfpacker will have more from Brown soon.
