NC State head coach Kevin Keatts indicated that the players swayed from the game plan in falling 81-76 to North Carolina Greensboro on Saturday at PNC Arena.

The Wolfpack rallied late to make the final tally look closer than it was. NC State was up 31-17 with 9:22 left in the first half, and then fell apart in a 29-point swing for the Spartans.

Keatts and senior power forward Abdul-Malik Abu had various theories on what happened, with Keatts' leaning toward lack of communication on defense. NC State also played without sophomore point guard Markell Johnson, who was indefinitely suspended before the game.
