NC State sophomore tight end Thaddeus Moss, the Pack's highest rated recruit in the 2016 class, announced Thursday that he would be transferring out of NC State.

Moss caught six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman while playing in all 13 games. The son of NFL legend Randy Moss, he was a four-star prospect when he signed with NCSU out of Mallard Creek High in Charlotte. Rivals.com also regarded Moss as the No. 123 overall player in the 2016 class, No. 7 in the state and No. 6 nationally at his position.
