Verbally committed to the Wolfpack on Aug. 2.

Recruiter of record:

Cornerbacks coach and assistant head coach for defense George Barlow.

Quotable:

“It’s kind of unbelievable. If I had told myself four years ago you are going to be committed to NC State for football I probably wouldn’t believe myself. It’s a crazy process.” — Max Fisher

Scouting report:

• Good-sized receiver.

• Shows great hand-eye coordination on film.

• Does not have great speed and may project as a possession receiver in college.

2017 projection:

Fisher is fairly polished for a receiver, even if he does not have great top-end speed. The biggest challenge he faces to getting on the field is simply a crowded room of talented wide receivers coming back. Thus he is a likely redshirt.
