Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard High senior tackle Rico Jackson wasn’t quite sure how his recruitment would work out.

Jackson knew he wanted to go to either NC State or Miami (Fla.), but it took some late recruiting drama for the Wolfpack option to come open. The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder had liked NC State ever since he came to Raleigh on a bus tour last June.
