Jacob Smith pulls trigger to play football, baseball at NC State
Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan High junior quarterback Jacob Smith knew in the eighth grade that he wanted to play for NC State baseball.
Smith needed a few years to figure out he also wanted to play for the Wolfpack football program too. Smith verbally committed to NC State coach Dave Doeren and quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper on Monday and announced the big news Tuesday.
