NC State improved to 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the ACC with a surprisingly easy 39-20 win over North Carolina on Saturday at Carter-Finley Stadium.
The Wolfpack defeated the Tar Heels for the third-straight year and await their bowl spot.

Redshirt junior running back Delbert Mimms runs for a 7-yard touchdown run to push NC State's lead to 39-14. The two-point conversion failed.
UNC's Drake Maye runs for score (10:18 p.m.)
UNC junior quarterback Drake Maye plunges in for a one-yard touchdown run, and after a pair of penalties, made a 43-yard extra point to cut the lead to 33-14 with 8:50 left in the third quarter. Maye set up the touchdown with a 56-yard run.
NC State picks up where left off (10:08 p.m.)
Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Dacari Collins with a nice 20-yard grab in the corner of the left end zone and NC State now leads 33-7 with 10:26 left in the third quarter.

NC State senior kicker Brayden Narveson rushed out on the field to make a 24-yard field goal as time expired, giving the Wolfpack a 26-7 halftime lead.

North Carolina junior quarterback Drake Maye rolled left and squeezed one to junior tight end John Copenhaver for a 15-yard line and NC State now leads 23-7 with 4:34 left in the second quarter.

Senior kicker Brayden Narveson makes a 28-yard field goal and the Wolfpack lead 23-0 with 5:57 left in the second quarter.
NC State's Kevin Concepcion gets second TD (9:10 p.m.)
NC State with "Jayhawk" and have several players wide right. UNC is confused and Kevin Concepcion catches easy 6-yard touchdown. NC State humiliating UNC 20-0 with 10:15 left in the second quarter.
NC State extends lead to 13-0 (8:52 p.m.)
NC State senior quarterback Brennan Armstrong throws a 12-yard dart to freshman wide receiver Kevin Concepcion. NC State leads UNC 13-0 with 12:56 left in the second quarter.
