GREENSBORO — NC State point guard signee Lavar Batts Jr. put on a show Saturday night in the Josh Level Classic at Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley High.

The high-flying Batts, who Rivals.com ranks No. 92 overall nationally in the class of 2017, is the lone prep signee for the Wolfpack. He originally signed with Virginia Commonwealth, but landed at NC State following the coaching carousel.

The former Concord (N.C.) Robinson High standout made his first appearance in the fourth-annual Josh Level Classic. Batts had 18 points, including two three-pointers, one rebound, three assists, one block and two steals in a 125-123 victory.
