Video interview: Quarterback Brandon Mitchell
Graduate senior quarterback Brandon Mitchell had been waiting for NC State's first day of practice ever since he made the decision to transfer from Arkansas and spend his final year in Raleigh.
The 6-foot-4, 239-pounder finally got his chance to take snaps at quarterback for the Wolfpack on Friday. Mitchell, redshirt junior quarterback Pete Thomas and three others are all competing for the starting job leading up to the season opener Aug. 31 vs. Louisiana Tech.
