GREENSBORO — Senior point guard Shakeel Moore has seen his recruitment take off this spring and summer.
NC State offered the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Moore on June 23. The Greensboro (N.C.) Piedmont product is the leading scorer for CP3 traveling team and earned an invitation to the prestigious NBPA Camp on June 11-16. NC State was able to heavily evaluate him with CP3, NBPA Camp and also at Wolfpack team camp.
Moore has played in the Josh Level Classic the last two years. He had 32 points, four three-pointers, six rebounds, four assists and five steals in a 159-157 loss May 17 at Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley High.
Moore had 13 points, six rebounds and one assist in a 128-121 loss a year ago May 19, 2018.
