UNC win helps Abu fulfill promise to fallen friend

It has been well documented that that Chapel Hill shooting victim and former NC State student Deah Barakat was friends with Wolfpack freshman forward Abdul-Malik Abu.
It's also well-known that the Abu, a fellow Muslim, attended Barakat's wedding to Yusor Abu-Salha, and Abu was friends with the young couple. The two were brutally murdered on Feb. 10, along with Razan Abu-Salha, the young bride's sister.
Abu's wedding promise to Barakat, a diehard NCSU fan, was put on instagram by his friend six weeks ago and now the rookie has helped it come to fruition.
"I'm gonna [sic] beat Duke and UNC for you as my wedding gift," Barakat wrote that Abu told him, along with a picture from the wedding, which can be seen below:

Abu helped the Pack fulfill that promise with two points and six rebounds, which tied for the team lead, in Tuesday night's 58-46 win on the road at No. 15 North Carolina. The Pack beat No. 2 Duke, 87-75, on Jan. 11.
