.864 Junior kicker Niklas Sade ranks fourth in the ACC and tied for 29th nationally with a field goal success rate of 86.4 percent. He is one of 20 national semifinalists for the Lou Groza Award, which is annually presented to the nation's top kicker.

2006 The upcoming game between the Pirates and Wolfpack is the latest non-conference game for NC State since 2006, when the season closed with a 21-16 loss to ECU in the season finale at Carter-Finley.
