NC State has offered five players in the class of 2020 that are in the top 100 for the class by Rivals.com.

That number could easily double by next week with the beginning of the first evaluation period today-through-Sunday. Richmond (Va.) John Marshall sophomore power forward Isaiah Todd is the highest ranked of the Wolfpack targets. The 6-9, 190-pound inside-outside threat is ranked No. 5 overall in the class of 2020. He’ll be playing with adidas-sponsored Team Loaded NC 17s this spring and summer.

NC State offered sophomore combo guard Jaden Springer of Mint Hill (N.C.) Rocky River, and he had a dominant season. The 6-4, 184-pounder is ranked No. 17 in the country and he’ll be playing with B. Maze Elite traveling team.

Small forward Jabri Abdur-Rahim checks in at No. 24 and he is the most recent prospect for NC State to offer, with the scholarship coming March 30. The 6-6, 180-pounder from Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, N.J. is the son of former NBA star Shareef Abdur-Rahim. He is expected to play with Team Rio on the Under Armour circuit.

NC State offered sophomore point guard Sharife Cooper in late June, after he played well at the Wolfpack elite camp. Rivals.com ranks the 6-0, 155-pounder No. 33 in the country. The Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern standout with play with AOT 17s in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.

NC State has shown interest in a handful of other players in the top 100. Shooting guard Cameron Thomas of Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith is ranked No. 36, and a trio of in-state prospects have been evaluated. Arden (N.C.) Christ School sophomore center Justice Ajogbor is ranked No. 42, Walkertown (N.C.) High point guard Jalen Cone moved up 10 spots to No. 60 and Winterville (N.C.) South Central center Day’Ron Sharpe joined the rankings at No. 90.

Richmond (Va.) Trinity Episcopal small forward Henry Coleman also unofficially visited, and he is ranked No. 65 in the rankings.
