Scouting videos: Boo Williams 15s players
The future of the Boo Williams traveling team organization was on display at the Nike EYBL No. 2 in Hampton, Va., on April 27-29.
Eighth-grader Edrice Adebayo of Washington, N.C., flashed his considerable potential at 6-foot-7 and likely still growing. He had five points, 13 rebounds and three blocks while playing about half the game in Boo Williams' 15s 63-36 win over Ohio Varsity on April 28.
Adebayo, who unofficially visited NC State last December, went 2 of 7 from the field, 1 of 3 at the free-throw line, and had six turnovers in the win.
Sharpshooter Brandon Alston of Middleburg (Va.) Academy added 14 points in the win. The 6-4 wing could emerge in the class of 2015. Alston went 6 of 10 from the field (2 of 4 on three-pointers), and added two assists, one rebound, one block, one steal and one turnover.
Alston has heard from NC State, Georgetown, VCU, Virginia, and Virginia Tech, and Vienna, Va., native is in his first year playing with the Boo Williams program.
Glen Allen (Va.) Deep Run 6-6 freshman forward Kevin Holmes could be another player to watch down the road. He added two points, six rebounds and one steal for Boo Williams.
