Pack hosts Campbell at Reynolds tonight

NC State plays host to Campbell at Reynolds Coliseum tonight for its third and final game of the season in the historic venue. The team's three contests on campus are the most for the program since moving to the RBC Center full-time in the 1999-2000 campaign.
The Wolfpack have won their previous two games at Reynolds, topping Elon, 82-67 on Nov. 25 before turning away North Carolina Central, 65-60 on Dec. 11.

Tonight's 7 p.m. game will mark the tenth meeting between NC State and Campbell; and the ninth that takes place on campus. The Pack is 7-1 all-time against the Camels at Reynolds Coliseum and 8-1 overall. The two programs have not met since the 2004-05 season, when the nationally ranked Red and White earned a 99-44 victory at Reynolds Coliseum, behind 20 points off the bench from Cameron Bennerman and 16 from Julius Hodge.
Campbell's only win in the series came during the 1993-94 season when they notched a 72-69 victory in overtime.
Since the Pack moved to the RBC Center, NC State is 9-0 at Reynolds during the month of December; and the team hasn't lost in the Coliseum since 2002, a streak that spans 12 contests. Coach Mark Gottfried and company have already topped one Big South opponent this season when they beat preseason conference favorite UNC-Asheville, 84-75 in the season opener on Nov. 11 at the RBC Center.
The Camels, who have lost four straight, are led by junior transfer Darren White, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound wing formerly of James Madison. He is a 45 percent shooter from 3-point range and ranks 13th nationally with an average of 20.8 points per game. He has recorded double digits in the points column in every contest this season and has recorded 33 points twice this year - against North Carolina A&T and Methodist.
Campbell has lost its last five road games and are 2-5 away from home this season, but did record a 77-61 victory at Iowa on Nov. 23. That marked their second victory over a BCS conference school in the last two seasons; they beat Auburn last year. The Camels enter the game against NC State ranked fourth nationally in team field goal percentage (.516) and 25th in points scored (79.3 per game).
