No decision yet for David Amerson

NC State junior cornerback David Amerson spoke with the media following practice on Friday, and reiterated that no decision has been made yet, in terms of leaving early to enter the NFL Draft.
"We'll see," he said of his future. "Right now, I'm just worried about the bowl game and trying to put everything I've got into it. A decision will be made after that."

Amerson set ACC and NC State records last year with 13 interceptions, the second-best total ever in FBS history, en route to several All-American honors and the Jack Tatum Award, which is annually given to the nation's top defensive back. He was also a finalist for the Thorpe Award.
This season, the corner led the Wolfpack with five interceptions, in addition to 53 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and 11 pass breakups. He returned the five picks for 82 yards, including a touchdown, and was named second-team All-ACC by both the media and conference coaches.
Amerson ranks first in school history with 18 career interceptions, and third in league history. He has led the ACC in picks for each of the past two seasons, and the team is 12-2 when he intercepts a pass. The star defender returned three for scores, including a touchdown in the season finale against Boston College.
