NC State releases spring depth chart
The first depth chart of the Dave Doeren era has been released.
At the all important quarterback position, no starter has been announced between redshirt junior Pete Thomas and sophomore Manny Stocker.

There are also spirited battles taking place at defensive ends, where redshirt junior Art Norman and fifth-year senior Forrest West are battling at one end and redshirt sophomore Mike Rose and fifth-year senior Darryl Cato-Bishop at the other.
Among the surprises, sophomore M.J. Salahuddin has been elevated to starting middle linebacker, fifth-year senior and converted corner Jarvis Byrd is first string free safety, redshirt sophomore Alex Barr is lining up at right guard and redshirt junior Tony Creecy is listed over first string over sophomore Shadrach Thornton at running back.
Both of the spring enrollees, left guard Cole Blankenship and receiver Bra'Lon Cherry, are also on the two-deep.
