NC State coach Tom O'Brien was encouraged by what he saw in Saturday's Kay Yow Spring Game, especially from his defense.
The Red team won 13-3 thanks to a 53-yard interception return for a touchdown by rising redshirt junior outside linebacker Terrell Manning in front of 13,139 fans at Carter-Finley Stadium.

The Wolfpacker talked to O'Brien, Manning, redshirt junior quarterback Mike Glennon, fifth-year senior outside linebacker Audie Cole and fifth-year senior defensive tackle J.R. Sweezy, following the game.
