Measurables:

Was listed on USC’s roster at 6-foot-7, 240 pounds.

Stats (high school):

• Senior: Caught 47 passes for 826 yards and 13 touchdowns offensively, and added six sacks and two picks on defense at Downington East High in Exton, Pa.

• Junior: Hauled in 33 passes for 456 yards and six scores.

Ratings (high school class of 2015):

• Rivals.com: Three stars, No. 20 tight end in the country and No. 12 player in the state.

• 247Sports: Four stars, No. 177 player in the nation, No. 7 tight end in the country and No. 4 player in the state.

• ESPN: Four stars, No. 245 player in the nation, No. 8 tight end in the country and No. 6 player in the state.

Honors/accomplishments:

• During his redshirt freshman season at USC was named the Offensive Service Team Player of the Year.

• Picked first-team all-state by Pennsylvania Football News and was first-team all-state by The Associated Press for AAAA as a junior and senior.

• Selected second-team All-Pennsylvania by USA Today as a senior.

• Chosen by the Philadelphia Inquirer first-team All-Southeastern Pennsylvania in 2014 and 2015.

• Was the league player of the year as a senior and all-league the year before.

• Also was an all-league performer in basketball.

Recruitment:

Decided to transfer from USC in September.

Enrolled at a junior college in Delaware with the hopes of being immediately eligible next fall.

Officially visited NC State in the fall and signed on Wednesday.

Scouting report:

• Reputed to be an athletic tight end and good pass receiving target.

• Was also a very good basketball player in high school.

• Will have three years left once he becomes eligible after the first four games of next season, but is appealing to play right away.

2017 projection:

With seniors Cole Cook and Jaylen Samuels gone, Angeline steps into an ideal situation to make an immediate impact. He was highly touted coming out of high school and earned strong reviews at USC.
