Brandon Costner added 12 points for the White, shooting 4 of 12 from the field, and Gavin Grant added 11 points for the Red, going 3 of 7 from the field, but added 4 of 6 from the free-throw line.
Point guard transfers Farnold Degand (Red) and Marques Johnson (White) gave a glimpse into who might run the show this season.
Degand's speed was evident in some end-to-end forays, with the sophomore finishing with eight points, two assists and one turnover.
Johnson, more steady with the ball, had a finger-tip roll layup for his lone points, and he added four assists and one turnover.
