C.J. Leslie suspended

NC State freshman power forward C.J. Leslie was suspended for the Wolfpack's game against Duke on Saturday due to violation of team rules.
Duke crushed NC State 76-52 in Leslie's absence. NCSU coach Sidney Lowe said after the game that the suspension would be lifted for the next game, at Wake Forest at 1 p.m. Feb. 13.

Leslie came down with an illness prior to the game against Miami on Jan. 23, and hasn't been in the starting lineup since getting healthy.
The 6-foot-8, 206-pounder from Raleigh Word of God is averaging 10.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per contest. He also has 33 blocks and 17 steals for the 12-10 Wolfpack.
Leslie came off the bench against Virginia Tech on Wednesday for 18 points and six rebounds in 24 minutes. He scored a season-high 21 points in the season opener against Tennessee Tech on Nov. 12, and has three double-doubles for points and rebounds.
Leslie, who Rivals.com ranked the No. 14 overall player in the country in the class of 2010, has won the ACC Rookie of the Week award three times.
