Pack Pros: Regular season wrap-up



By the end of the NFL regular season, only NC State and Michigan were colleges with a pair of former quarterbacks currently starting in the NFL. Michigan boasts Chad Henne and Tom Brady, while NC State was the former home for Russell Wilson and Philip Rivers, who both threw for at least 3,000 yards and 26 scores.

State was the only school in the nation with a pair of NFL quarterbacks to throw for at least 3,000 yards and 20 scores in the NFL this year. Brady and Henne combined to toss for 6,911 yard, 45 touchdowns and 19 interceptions, while Wilson and Rivers combined for 6,724 yards, 52 touchdowns and 25 interceptions.

Wilson and the Seahawks, who also feature fromer Pack players J.R. Sweezy and Steven Hauschka in key roles, were one of five teams with a former Wolfpacker on the roster to qualify for the playoffs. The others were: Cincinnati (Manny Lawson), Denver (Nate Irving), Green Bay (Terrell Manning) and Minnesota (Audie Cole).
