Besides the pick, his only other incompletion was a throw-away ... Rivers was just the sixth quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 90 percent of his throws with a minimum of 20 attempts and, according to ESPN, he was a perfect 8-for-8 for 135 yards and two scores on throws that traveled at least 11 yards in the air ... According to ESPN, he is the first quarterback to ever throw at least six passes of at least 11 yards in the air and complete all of them ... Rivers' 90 percent completion percentage broke the Chargers' single-game record of 88, previously set by Drew Brees in 2004 ... On the year, the signal caller is 175-of-263 (66.5 percent) for 1,866 yards, 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions ... He has recorded a passer rating of 86.5, which ranks 13th in the NFL ... Meanwhile, his completion percentage ranks sixth and number of touchdown throws is tied for 12th.
