UVa lands No. 4

It had been more than a month since head coach Al Groh and the Cavaliers rang the bell with a new commitment. What has traditionally been a time when Virginia has locked up a large part of its recruiting class in years past has been a quiet time with regard to commitments.

The perceived drought ended today when UVa landed its fourth commitment of the 2008 class.

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Bill Schautz (6-foot-4, 225 pounds, 4.6 seconds) was ecstatic when he received an offer from Virginia last month.
