Mack is racking up offers

Stratford (Conn.) running back/athlete Torrey Mack (6-foot, 198 pounds, 4.48 seconds) is quickly becoming one of the most sought after players in the northeast. Mack, who has now racked up 12 offers, has been high on Virginia's wish list from the start. Last week, three UVa assistants made their way to Stratford to further evaluate the talented back. Do the Cavaliers hold an advantage for Mack right now?

"Virginia is Torrey's leader. UConn is up there too, but it is safe to say that the Cavaliers are his leader," said Stratford head coach Duane Shirden.

Mack visited Virginia in March for a junior day and that is when the interest became mutual.
