First confirmed Penn State offer to tailback

When considering powerhouse high school football states, Texas, Florida, and California generally come to mind. Surely, Connecticut isn't typically known as a breeding ground for blue-chip high school football prospects.

Maybe that's why one of the best tailbacks in the Northeast, Torrey Mack, is still relatively unknown.

Well, to the general public, anyway.

Written scholarship offers from some of the top football universities in the country have already started to accumulate for Mack. Those offers include Penn State, Virginia, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Iowa and UConn. Other interested schools include Boston College, Syracuse and Florida.
