Local school loaded with stars

When Brian Kelly took over as head football coach at Cincinnati a couple months back, one of his key decisions on personnel was bringing in Cincinnati Colerain High School head coach Kerry Coombs. With his connections in the area, Coombs has been a dynamite recruiter for the Bearcats in these first couple months and has them competing from top prospects in the Cincinnati area like those at Turpin High School.

Cincinnati Turpin went to the state semifinals this past fall and finished with a 12-2 record on the year. Leading the list of Turpin's class of 2008 prospects is 6-4, 205-pound wide receiver Andy Cruse.
