Tobais Palmer ready to lead the receivers

If fifth-year senior receiver Tobais Palmer proved one thing last year, he showed that he can be a playmaker in the ACC.

Palmer caught seven passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in the second game of the season, a loss at Wake Forest. He did not match those numbers in another game throughout the year, but he still finished with 37 catches for 496 yards and five scores despite missing one game.

What's most impressive though is that 2011 was Palmer's first year as a full-time receiver on the field. He had primarily played running back first in high school then for two years at Georgia Military College before enrolling at NC State.
