The numbers that mattered: NC State at FSU
2 Safety Dontae Johnson tallied two interceptions in the game, to bring his season total to 3. He also notched eight tackles in the contest to bring his season total to 47, which is ranked second on the team.
2 True freshmen that started the game — defensive tackle Monty Nelson and cornerback Jack Tocho.
2.5 Redshirt junior defensive tackle Thomas Teal recorded 2.5 tackles for loss in the game, including 1.5 sacks. That brings his season total up to 6.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage, which is third on the team.
