Cavs land pledge
The Virginia football program played host to nearly 20 highly rated 2008 prospects on Saturday afternoon, as it looks to follow up its top-25 2007 recruiting class with another strong effort. Early reports revealed that weekend looked to be a success, and that notion gained some validity earlier today when UVa picked up its second verbal commitment in the 2008 class. Who is the newest Cavalier?
Offensive line help was viewed as a major need in 2007 and that will once again be the case in 2008.
And that made today's news even more exciting for the Virginia staff, as Aaron VanKuiken from Turpin High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, informed Al Groh and Company that he wanted to play his college football in Charlottesville.
