New NC State head football coach Dave Doeren is hardly settled in at this point, but recruiting waits for no one, especially with the dead period starting Dec. 17 and lasting until Jan. 3. Coaches are not allowed to contact recruits during that span.

Thus Doeren is forced to hit the ground running in recruiting, and here will be some of his top priorities over the next couple of weeks.
