As The Wolfpacker has said on The Wolves' Den message board, there were four top candidates for the vacant head coaching position, but Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris is no longer under consideration.
We will be finishing our series giving an in-depth look at the top group of candidates with our third look, at Kent State head coach Darrell Hazell.
* Kent State will be playing for a chance to crash the BCS party tonight when they take on Dave Doeren and Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship game (ESPN2, 7 p.m.). The Golden Flash is currently ranked No. 17 in the BCS rankings, and despite being a member of a non-automatic qualifier conference, if they finish in the top 16 and ahead of a champion from one of the AQ leagues (the Big East), they will receive a BCS game berth.
